Those Who Lead

So just a few words about what happened Monday October 2 in my home town area of Las Vegas I remember waking up this morning and checking my phone when my news app told me that there was a shooting in Las Vegas, not having (or taking) the time to read the article, I assumed it was another like gas station robbery and didn't quite understand why it was captioned "breaking news". I went to my first class and after that class I recieved another notification from my new app that simply said "death tole rises on the Vegas shooting" so I think to my self, "ok self, this is big, what the crap happened back home" so I read several articles and go to the student union to watch the news and see what was happening! I was highly angered at what I read and watched, I immediatly tried contacting as many of my dear loved ones as I could. I have several friends who love concerts, several friends and family that Love country music so I went into serious panic mood and could no longer focus on what school work I had going on. Come to find out, several of my friends wanted to go but decided to cancel last minute. I have no doubt in my mind that Heavenly Father was watching out for and protecting them. It gives me peace to know that all of my family and friends are safe and alive and I greive for and with those who lost their loved ones. I am eternally grateful for law enforement who worked to crack down on this shooter and who still, tirelessly work for my safety.

SOFIA DAY!!!!!!!!!!
This is seriously one of the coolest things I have ever done. Watching the Discovery make her final launch into space was incredible, Seeing the Atlantis and Endevor Space crafts instilled a strong patriotic feeling in my heart and soul.... But to actually walk through a NASA spacecraft was AWESOME plain and simple, I couldn't get enough pictures! for those of you who don't know, SOFIA is the largest mobil telescope in the world owned of course by NASA and Embry Riddle Students got the opportunity to tour the craft and meet the pilots and astronomer that work the craft.
